The online community at the Platelet Disorder Support Association have been very helpful to me. I do have to be careful at times, as there are some sad stories there, and if I'm not in the right frame of mind when I read them they can send me down a rabbit hole of worry. However, the forum is filled with good-hearted, helpful people, people for whom I am grateful.

I've found help and information in reading through some of these pamphlets, and as my new ITP friends say, "Knowledge is power!"
When my legs and arms start sporting those little (and then progressively bigger) purple and black splotches that I know so well, sometimes I'll sing along to this song. It makes me laugh, and reminds me that "Everybody loses, we all have bruises"--and that that's not necessarily a bad thing.
I mean really, don't we all want better conversation?
